A Thank You from Team Tablo…
By: Leslie Trigg

To all of you visiting our website who are working to serve the dialysis patient population during COVID-19 – thank you. As the environment changes at a breathtaking pace, you are being called upon to be creative, flexible and open-minded on where and how to deliver dialysis, perhaps in ways you never imagined were possible. Please know, we are ready to stand shoulder to shoulder in problem-solving with you.
We have been inundated with phone calls and emails from health systems, dialysis clinics, long-term acute care hospitals, rehab facilities and skilled nursing facilities asking questions about whether Tablo is available for use and whether we will be able to fulfill demand. We are trying to answer everyone’s inquiries as quickly as possible, but thought it might be helpful to provide answers to the top 5 questions we are receiving.
Q: Are you still producing and shipping Tablo units? Will you be able to fulfill demand for consoles?
A: Yes. We are supported by an incredible network of suppliers and manufacturers who are as dedicated as we are to serving patients and providers through this crisis. While the situation remains extremely fluid, and things could change rapidly, we anticipate being able to meet the increasing demand for Tablo.
Q: Will you be able to meet our demand for Tablo treatment disposables?
A: Yes. We will ensure you receive the Tablo disposables you need to treat your patients anywhere, anytime.
Q: Can we get our clinical staff trained on Tablo in this current environment?
A: Yes. Our staff is continuing to conduct trainings with clinical staff on a regular basis. In addition, to meet the changing needs of our customers in this dynamic situation, we have established a virtual training program to train nurses and other clinical staff using a combination of live streaming content and a proprietary touchscreen simulator that enables the learner to practice operating a Tablo from afar. Post training, during the user’s initial patient treatments, our clinical trainer is available via Zoom for real-time coaching and support.
Q: Can Tablo really operate from anywhere?
A: Yes. We’ve heard directly from healthcare providers that they are looking at all kinds of alternative locations to manage patients both within and outside healthcare facilities. All Tablo needs to operate is access to tap water with EPA quality drinking water, an electrical outlet and a drain. The system is small, mobile and fully integrated. Therefore, it can be easily moved into a variety of locations (the ER, or a spare exam room for example) to solve for capacity constraints and/or increase isolation treatment delivery.
Q: How can we get connected to Outset to discuss using Tablo as a solution?
A: We now have a dedicated email [email protected] set up to ensure COVID-19 related Tablo requests are prioritized and responded to immediately. Second, you can call us at 844-MYTABLO.
Please know our team is behind yours. You have our full commitment to act with urgency, flexibility and imagination.
Take care and be well,
